“Loop Atmospheres" is a selection of 15 sound experiments recorded between 2020 and 2022, a time characterised by isolation and introspection. Installing a loop pedal and a microphone in her living room she recorded spontaneous sessions on tape. Improvising and exploring textures and harmonies became a habit and did make the framework for exploring a variety of atmospheres centred around the voice as the main instrument, and looping and improvising as tools for composition.

Roberta Lazo Valenzuela is a Chilean composer, singer and visual artist living in Austria,In her music she weaves stories with memories and landscapes in a variety of soundscapes, experimental songs and atmospheres.
